If you are trying to make money online and do not have Market Samurai then you operating at a distinct disadvantage.

You are wasting a lot of time creating blogs and websites in hopes that you strike gold.

Do it enough and you will.  It might take you one year or it might take you five years but you will eventually strike gold.

There will be a juicy keyword that you will accidentally stumble upon that will end up paying off extremely well.

This is what happened to me.

I started ten websites based on the keyword research formula provided to me via The Keyword Academy back in 2008.  I worked hard at all of them and eight of them ended up being total duds.

In fact, the websites that I poured my heart & soul into produced the least.  It turned out that the two blogs that I put the least amount of effort into produced the most.

Isn’t that ironic?

Market Samurai Helps You Mine For Good Keywords

The software is made for helping people find good keywords that have relatively low competition, a decent cost per click, enough traffic and a high commercial value.

For a word or phrase to be a good keyword you need all four factors to be in place.

You might be asking yourself why.  Its plain and simple.

Low Competition

If you ever could rank on page one of Google for the term “cheap short loans” or “best weight loss” you would be a millionaire.  You could spend the rest of your life living in Hawaii getting hand fed grapes by the person of your choosing.

Unfortunately, if you started today and worked day and night you might get to page five in a two years.  Unless you had a whole SEO team it would take you five years working everyday to even get close to getting to page one.

For you to have any chance of success you need to find keywords that are attainable. You need keywords that large corporations are accidentally ranking for and not necessarily optimizing their website for.

A Decent Cost Per Click

Its important that you make certain that your keyword is worth something.  Whether you are using Google Adsense or some type of affiliate program you need to make sure that when someone clicks on your ad or purchases an item you get paid more than fifty-cents.

You might be getting a good amount of clicks or sales by if the cost per click is not high enough your monthly earnings will only be enough to cover an Extra Value Meal at Wendys.

Enough Traffic

The best looking and optimized websites might get a five percent click through rate.  This means that you are going to need a lot of search engine traffic to make money on the internet.

Do the math.  Even if twenty people are coming to your website every single day only one person out of that number will take action.

Unless your cost per click is amazing like “asbestos attorney” then you are going to need tons of traffic to pay your mortgage.

Commercial Value

This is a concept that Market Samurai taught me and one that would have saved me a lot of headache in the past.

You need to find out if a keyword is a “buying keyword?”

In other words how likely is a person to buy this particular item or service online if he finds what he needs.

The first keyword I ever ranked on page one of Google was “sports highlights.”  I was right under ESPN and Fox Sports.  I thought I was going to make a lot of money.

Unfortunately, few people clicked on my ads even on days I received hundreds of visitors.  The reason why is because it was not a buying keyword.  A person was not looking to make a purchase when they came to my website via that phrase.  I wasted months on that site and it ended up being a waste.

Commercial value is extremely important. You need to spend some time thinking to yourself how likely a person would be to grab their credit card and pay for this particular item online.

At the end of the day your Adsense clicks, text links or banner ads must translate into someone actually buying something. Advertisers speed money on Adsense because they believe that a click coming from your website has a high likelihood of turning into an actual paying customer.

If your keyword or phrase is not something people want to BUY then you need to skip it.

Market Samurai Helps You Sort Through All Four Qualifications

This software is made to not only produce an endless string of keywords but to see if they meet all four qualifications.

After spending a couple hours with Market Samurai you should have several keywords you can build a website around that has low to medium competition, a decent cost per click, enough people who are looking that term up on a daily basis (traffic) and a high commercial value.

Once you find terms using this program that meets those four things you will be in a good position to make money.  You will still need to optimize it properly, write good content and get a decent amount of back links for your website but the amount of work you put into it will not be in vain once you get to page one.
