Unofficial Google Site About Making Adsense Revenue

Adsense Revenue Result of Planning and Consistency

Every successful business owner in any industry has to have a formula to their success.  Internet marketing is no different.  People think that online businesses have different rules than ones not based in cyberspace but they are mistaken.

To make any significant adsense revenue you must have a consistent plan of action and stick to it.  After a while it should be second nature.

Part of this plan must include a daily ritual of writing new posts, asking for links from websites related to yours, tweaking your site, researching new plugins that may benefit you, deleting old plugins that do not help you, changing your adsense ads or testing them, and researching whats new in the world of SEO.

What I have just mentioned are what I invest time into every single day.  Sometimes its just thirty minutes and other times I dedicate an entire day to them.

Every so often I devote a whole working day to writing new posts for all of my websites.  But the majority of my time is spend link building these days.

Links are the currency on the internet right now, thanks to Google, and you cannot make any adsense revenue without them.  After you get a site up and going obtaining relevant back links for it should be your primary focus.

My Current Method

First, I think about what I would be interested in. I do not start websites and blogs about anything I have no interest in.  There is just too much writing involved to devote hours upon hours writing about something that you find dreadfully boring.

Second, I do research on that topic.  Will it be hard to write about.  Your standard website will at least need five pages of original content for it to go anywhere in Googleland. That is just the starting point.  You will have to make five to ten more posts about that subject over the next couple months.  And that is just on page content!  I have not even mentioned all the articles you will have to write for that topic.  One keyword that is worth anything will demand a minimum of 15-20 articles.  So pick wisely!

Third, I  do keyword research and find out if that keyword will pay.  There are several formulas out there but I like to use (volume x .40 x.05)(average cost per click x.25)= theoretical value.  While this formula does have twp flaws in it I have found it to be the most accurate.

Fourth, I get to work and make the website.  I will take at least half a day to a full day to accomplish this.

Fifth, I let the website sit and naturally get indexed by Google.  Even after that period I let it sit longer and let it marinate.  New websites are not trusted by Google and the longer you let it sit the better.  I like to see where a website will fall without any links.  Sometimes you will be surprised.

Sixth, I begin to build links.  I start with Ezine, Hubpages, and GoArticles.  Then I move on to exchanging links with related sites.  I get a couple of these and then let the website sit some more.  I do not send out that many e-mails any longer.  I like to call people and get to know them.  If humanly possible I will call a webmaster up and ask for a link.  I have found that you create relationships this way and sometimes I get 5-10 links from one person.  Powerful stuff and it makes this whole business less interpersonal.

Here is a cool site about tiki torches I am working on now.  While I do want to make adsense revenue off this site at some point this is actually a subject I enjoy writing about.  I have several of these things in my yard and came up with the idea after a friend of mine had this cool luau party in Huntington Beach (I was on vacation).

So far I have invested at least 10 hours into it.  At the SEO company I work for I get paid $25 a hour as a link builder so I figure I have $250 man hours into this site.  It will take another five hours to do link building on it.  Really excited about it though and plan to have a tiki party the day it gets to page one.

Have fun in what you do.  Being a internet marketer is one of the most exciting jobs in the world.  You get paid to write about things you love.  If you are struggling then you have picked the wrong topic.  Nevertheless, it takes work and dedication.  No significant amount of adsense revenue will appear over night out of thin air.  Make a process and stay the course.
