If there is anyone out there that is still struggling to make a buck with adsense I suggest you read this blog post by Zedomax about where to place your ad blocks with your blogs.

My man Max is a “make money online” guru who breaks down why many of you are probably not making any money with Google adsense.

There is a good chance that low traffic is the biggest culprit here.  Unless your blog is bringing in a couple thousand visitors per day you can forget buying a house by the beach with your monthly earnings.

But, many bloggers fail to milk what revenue they can from their websites by placing their ad blocks in the wrong spot.

Hello people!

Its been said multiple times by many different people who know what they are doing that the right sidebar is the worst place to out your ads.

Does it look pretty? Yes.

Does placing your skyscraper ad block seem like the best area of your blog to place advertising? Absolutely.

Will you get a high click through rate in this area? Not even in your dreams.

This is the very first mistake I made when I first started blogging.

It makes me laugh when I think about it.

I started with a blogspot blog about Harry Poter lol

I did no keyword research, no cost per click research and placed my adsense ads in the worst possible locations because I did not want them to make my beautiful site that I had worked so hard on look ugly.

Since I begin that site I think I’ve gotten one click from it and that was most likely a friend.

Where you place your ads on your blog can be the difference between a 5% click through rate and a zero percent click through rate.

Place rectangle ad blocks above the content, in the middle of your content or right after your content before the comments section begins.

Make the ads blend with the rest of your theme.

Exploit experts who are making money and avoid making the same mistakes they did.
